Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson recognized 66 team members during its semiannual service pin award ceremony honoring employees who celebrated their service anniversary during the last six months of 2006. Recognized for 20 years or more were: Jan Harper in cardiac rehab, Phyllis Johanson in the critical care unit, Randy Gray in the emergency department, Cheryl Morrissey in surgical unit 400, Helen Snow in endoscopy, Deb Fryer in ambulatory infusion, Laurie Kohut in medical transcription, Dr. Markus Kryger at Forsyth Medical Care, Denise Kuhs in hyperbaric medicine and Sherry Vorhaben in home health.

Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson has been awarded the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence for the second year in a row. The distinction, given by HealthGrades, puts Skaggs among the nation’s top 5 percent of hospitals for excellence based on mortality and complication rates.

Branson Bank appointed Tom Boyce to its board of directors. Boyce is owner and president of Tom Boyce Excavating Inc. of Branson.

Ozark Mountain Bank promoted three employees at its Branson facilities. Cindy Howell, an employee since 1985, is vice president of compliance. Howell is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Compliance School at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla. Sandy Capps is assistant vice president and assistant facility manager at Cedar Ridge. Capps, an employee since 2002, recently completed her insurance training and is now licensed to sell annuities. Donna Owens is assistant vice president of retail. Owens has worked at the bank since 1995.
