Linda Baxter joined Akers & Arney as an agent providing individuals and seniors with health and life insurance plans.

Baxter also provides counseling to seniors on the Missouri Rx Plan, Medicare’s Extra Help Plan, Missouri AIDS Drug Assistance Program and Medicare Savings Program.

Doug Lay was appointed branch manager for the Branson office of Murney Associates, Realtors.

Lay has been with Murney Associates since January 2005. He previously was

in the construction industry and owned

a lawn irrigation company for 14 years. Lay has lived in the Branson area since 1962.

Utilities

Chris Hamon, CEO of White River Valley Electric Cooperative, was named to the executive committee and as a district representative to the training and development committee for the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives in Jefferson City.
