Presley had battled pulmonary fibrosis and diabetes for several years, according to a news release.
In 1967, Presley and husband Lloyd, along with their four children, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law, left Springfield for Branson to open Mountain Music Theater – the first music theater along Branson’s Highway 76 strip. The theater later became Presleys’ Country Jubilee.
Presley never performed on stage but worked behind the scenes, doing bookkeeping, sewing costumes and selling concessions.
Visitation will be 4–6 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 708 State Highway 248 in Branson. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Tri-Lakes Church, 2527 State Highway 248 in Branson.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to Skaggs Community Health Center Foundation.
