Branson Landing holds summer celebration

Posted online
In addition to its shopping and dining, Branson Landing tonight will be alive with performances and the debut of its $7.5 million water and fire feature.

The Summer Celebration began at 10 this morning and continues through the day with Branson Landing street performers and cameo appearances by Branson celebrities.

At 8:30 p.m., the main stage at the district’s Town Square will feature a performance by the Chinese Acrobats and a summer celebration concert headlined by California’s Venice.

At the celebration’s conclusion at 10:45 p.m., magician Darren Romeo will present the debut of the Landing’s Wet Design Fountains in a show choreographed to memorable songs from the 1980s and 1990s. The 300-foot-long, 50-foot-wide water and fire feature includes 186 jet fountains that shoot geysers up to 120 feet and 15 fire cannons.

The outdoor shopping district opened at the end of May and has since opened an additional 21 retailers to its original 48.
