Branson Landing

Posted online
Construction continues on Branson Landing, a 95-acre, $420 million development east of downtown Branson on the Lake Taneycomo waterfront. The project is a public-private partnership between developer HCW Development Co. and the city of Branson. Contractors include Turner Construction, Walton Construction and Killian Construction, and architectural firms Thompson Ventulett, Stainback & Associates Inc. and Crawford Architects.

The city of Branson hired C & C Engineering Inc. of Dallas to conduct plan reviews and inspections for the development, which will feature 500,000 square feet of retail space with more than 100 stores and more than 140 condominiums. Tenants already signed on for the development include Bass Pro, a Belk department store and the Disney Store. There will be several marinas, two Hilton hotels, a convention center and several dining options. A boardwalk will run north-south along the shoreline, linked to a new town square that will accommodate as many as 5,000 people for festivals and outdoor events.
