Branson Creek breaks ground on second course

Posted online
Branson Creek Development LLC today will break ground for the clubhouse of the $20 million Murder Rock Golf and Country Club, set to open in mid-2007.

Festivities will begin at 12 p.m. Branson Creek founder Glenn Patch will be accompanied by entertainers – who also are the country club’s charter members – Bill Medley, Paul Revere, Gary Lewis, Shoji Tabuchi and Moe Bandy.

The clubhouse will serve as the social gathering center of the 7,500-acre residential community in Hollister. It will offer light dining, a members’ lounge, a golf shop, a fitness room, tennis and swimming.

Nonresidents of Branson Creek can join the country club if personally invited later this year; 100 founding memberships are available to nonresidents.

The club will have an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Landmark Land Co. Inc., that will incorporate the landscape of the Ozark Mountains into its fairways and greens.

The par-71 golf course will range in length between 5,000 yards and 6,600 yards. It will be the second course for Branson Creek.[[In-content Ad]]
