Branson Convention Center launches new website

Posted online
Branson Convention Center officials have relaunched the facility's website, designed to better serve the meeting planning industry. The site was first launched in 2007.

“After six years, technology has advanced and we wanted our site to reflect that advancement for all of our visitors ” said Lisa Jones, director of sales and marketing for the city-owned convention center managed by Hilton, in a news release. “Our goal is to ensure that the meeting planners wanting to plan their next event here at the convention center can do so, quickly, efficiently and professionally with a very simple procedure."

The redesigned website, BransonConvention.com, is designed to be viewable on all devices; has navigation elements meant to better organize content for planners; includes a request-for-proposal process with increased detail and a quicker response time; and additional information about the Branson area.

The nearly 114,000-square-foot convention center anchors the $420 million Branson Landing, according to the website. Springfield businessman Jim D. Morris is reportedly building another option in the market, with plans to add 15,000 to 20,000 square feet of convention space to his Ramada hotel on the 76 Strip.
