Branson company begins work on Arizona hotel

Branson-based development and construction management company HCW LLC has commenced construction on a Hampton Inn and Suites at a mixed-use business park in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The hotel is being built within Riverwalk Arizona, a $400 million, 187-acre retail and office park, according to a company news release.

"We are pleased to be a part of the Riverwalk development, and after four years of planning, we are excited to begin construction," Rick Huffman, HCW managing partner, said in the release.

The hotel, projected to open in February 2012, is being constructed by Summitt Construction of Phoenix, Ariz.

HCW LLC, which developed the $420 million Branson Landing retail development, has developments nationwide and has additional offices in Phoenix and in Wichita, Kan.[[In-content Ad]]
