Branson businesses present annual expo today

Nearly 60 Branson-area businesses are represented at the Branson Area Business Expo 2009, a business-to-business trade show presented by the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. today.

The event, at Chateau on the Lake at 415 State Highway 265, is free and open to the public, according to the Branson chamber.

Ozarks Technical Community College will present a free hourlong workshop beginning at 2 p.m. titled "What Does Lean Mean to the Service Industry." The workshop will focus on the eight categories of waste found in business processes and how cutting them will help an organization's bottom line.

A members-only After Hours at the Expo event will be held 5:30-7 p.m., giving chamber members an opportunity to network.[[In-content Ad]]
