Branson business owner dies in plane crash

A Branson business owner died Sunday as a plane he was flying crashed near Cuba, Mo.

Jeffery Hansen, 54, owned Hansen’s Tree Service, which operates in Branson and the St. Louis area.

According to Branson Tri-Lakes News, Hansen was flying a Piper PA 32, a single-engine aircraft, from Branson to Creve Coeur when he hit heavy turbulence.

While Hansen was piloting the plane alone, his dog also died in the crash.
