Branson Area Newsmakers

The Table Rock Lake Area Chamber of Commerce 2007 inducted its board of directors and officers for terms beginning Jan. 1. The 2007 officers are: Chairman Cy Murray of White River Valley Environmental Services; Immediate Past Chair Nita Jane Ayres of Aux Arc Real Estate; Vice Chair Jeff Justus of L&J Plumbing; Treasurer Ron Jett of Dixie Stampede, and Secretary Lisa Rau of Silver Dollar City.

Incoming board members serving three-year terms are: Randy Brashers of IMAX Entertainment Complex; Justus of L&J; Murray of White River Valley; Dorothy Polk of Alpine Lodge; Larry Price of Table Rock Community Bank; Rau of SDC; Gary Fultz of Port of Kimberling Marina; and Cindi Conway and Eric Simkins of American Family Insurance.

Carrie Chandler is the new director of sales and marketing for Branson Creek Development. She previously held similar positions with national builder Del Webb and regional builders in Tulsa, Okla.; Savannah, Ga.; Naples, Fla.; Hilton Head, S.C.; and Seattle.

Branson Creek spans 7,500 acres south of Hollister, including Branson Creek Golf Club and the John Daly Murder Rock Golf and Country Club that will open in the summer.

Jamie Whiteis is the new general manager of Tanger Outlet Center in Branson. Whiteis, previously assistant manager with Tanger, has worked at the retail mall since 1999. Cathy Barber of Ozark accepted the position of assistant manager at Tanger.
