BP to boost US investment after tax reform

BP CEO Bob Dudley said Tuesday it will increase its investment in the United States after federal tax reform.

"It is important for us - there is no doubt we will increase investments," said Dudley, a U.S. citizen who leads the British oil and gas company.

He did not specify how much BP plans to invest in the United States. However, he said GP invested $90 billion in the United States over the past decade, excluding $65 billion in fines and clean-up costs related to the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster.
