London's BP PLC (NYSE: BP) is moving forward on a $1.3 billion expansion in the Gulf of Mexico.
The company announced it will add eight new wells to its offshore oil and gas platform at the Atlantis field.
The expansion is expected to boost production by 38,000 barrrels per day.
