Oil company BP failed to get a shareholder majority for two resolutions at its annual general meeting.
The resolutions would have permitted virtual annual general meetings and allowed the company to scrap two previous resolutions requiring company-specific climate disclosures, Reuters reports.
The initial vote results are slated to be released later today.
