BP buys fuel business in Australia for $1.3B

Oil company BP agreed to buy the fuel business of Australian supermarket chain Woolworths for $1.3 billion.

In the transaction, BP would gain 527 fuel convenience sites and 16 other development sites across Australia.

Subject to regulatory approval, the deal is expected to completed during 2017.
