Boxer Patrick Day died of brain injuries on Wednesday, four days after a knockout loss. He was 27.
Charles Conwell, a 2016 U.S. Olympian, knocked him out. Two days before Day's death, Conwell wrote a letter on social media. "If I could take it all back I would," he said in the letter.
Day's record was 17-4-1, according to ESPN.
