Boulevard Brewing fires exec amid harassment claims

Kansas City-based Boulevard Brewing Co. announced yesterday it fired a company executive after harassment claims at the company came to light.

The company also announced it would hire an independent human resources firm to investigate its corporate culture. The ousted executive was not named.

A former employee posted on Reddit over the weekend that the company has “a sexist work environment that takes advantage of its employees.” She said she was harassed over her pregnancy and that other female employees were subjected to repeated unwanted advances.
