Boulevard Brewing CEO resigns

Mike Magoulas has resigned from his position as CEO of Boulevard Brewing Co.

Chief executive since September 2012, Magoulas told the Kansas City Business Journal his last day was Dec. 31, the same day Belgium-based brewer Duvel Moortgat finalized its acquisition of Boulevard.

"They left me hanging there for the last month or so," Magoulas said in the article. "I was really not able to do anything, but they also wouldn't let me go. An easier thing for me to do was to just keep my head up, help them out the best I could and keep doing the best I can. We didn't part ways badly."
