Boston tunnel reopens after $19M makeover

The Callahan Tunnel in Boston has reopened after a $19 million makeover.

The two-lane tunnel, which carries traffic to Logan International Airport from the downtown area, reopened early Monday, according to the Associated Press.

The renovation of the 52-year-old tunnel was planned after a corroded wall panel fell onto the roadway in December 2012. No one was hurt and no vehicles were struck.
