Boston Beer Co., the maker of Samuel Adams, is buying craft brewer Dogfish Head Brewery in a $300 million deal.
Dogfish Head is slated to remain an independent brewery as it becomes a division of Boston Beer.
Dogfish Head's 275,000 barrels of brewing will add to Boston Beer's 4 million, according to the Boston Business Journal.
