The city of Bonner Springs, Kansas, is considering the expansion of a tax increment financing district to support a Mattel theme park.
Arizona-based developer Epic Resort Destinations has asked for the TIF to be expanded by a combined 108 acres.
The company's planned $490 million Destination KCK would be anchored by Mattel Adventure Park and also include hotels, retail and other entertainment options.
