Citizens Memorial Healthcare will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony next week to celebrate the opening of the CMH Walk-In Clinic.
Located at 2230 S. Springfield Ave. in Bolivar's Railway Station building, the clinic will be open 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, according to a news release from the health system.
CMH Walk-In Clinic will be staffed by licensed nurse practitioners who will treat common medical conditions, such as coughs, sinus infections, and minor injuries. The clinic will have X-ray and laboratory services on-site. The walk-in clinic, however, is not meant to treat life-threatening conditions. People with more serious conditions such as chest pain, uncontrollable bleeding or unresponsiveness, should be seen at CMH's emergency room, located at 1500 N. Oakland, the release said.
