Companies on the list were ranked based on cumulative three-year sales growth from 2001 to 2004. During that span, Duck Creek revenues grew 1,131 percent.
Doug Roller, CEO of the company he helped found in 2000, said Duck Creek posted about $500,000 in revenue in 2001 – the first year the company offered its insurance policy administration software.
In 2002, Duck Creek posted about $1.5 million in revenue, which doubled to $3 million in 2003.
“In 2004, we went to about $6.5 million, and this year, we’ll finish up at maybe $11 (million) to $11.5 million,” Roller said, noting that projections for 2006 have the company’s revenues in the mid-$20 millions.
Duck Creek has about 110 employees at its Bolivar headquarters, and another 35 at a sales, marketing and support office in Farmington, Conn.
