Seven current and former Boilermakers International union officials have been charged in a federal indictment.
The indictment alleges a 15-year, $20 million embezzlement scheme. The charges include conspiracy under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, health care fraud, embezzlement and wire fraud.
The officials are accused of allegedly spending union funds on personal expenses.
