Boeing opened a $50 million compensation fund for families of people killed in 737 Max plane crashes.
The total works out to around $145,000 for each of the 346 people who died in crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia.
The families will not be required to sign away their right to sue in order to make claims to the compensation fund.
