Boeing wins $13.8B Singapore Air order

Boeing Co. submitted the winning bid to supply 39 wide-body aircraft to Singapore Airlines Ltd.

The airline agreed to pay $13.8 billion - at list prices that don't reflect customary discounts - for 20 777-9s, which are set to debut at the decade’s end, and 19 787-10s, the longest Dreamliner model.

Jet delivery will start as early as the financial year ending in March 2021.
