Boeing Corp. is planning to cut 17,000 jobs, equating to 10% of its workforce.
“Our business is in a difficult position, and it is hard to overstate the challenges we face together," CEO Kelly Ortberg said in a letter to employees.
The company additionally announced it would further delay the 777X long-range widebody jet launch and discontinue the 767 cargo plane.
