Boeing to break ground on expansion to build 777X parts

Officials will break ground Tuesday on a 367,000-square-foot expansion at Boeing's St. Louis campus to build parts for the 777X aircraft.

The project is marked for completion in June 2016, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

McCarthy subsidiary MC Industrial has been selected as the contractor for the multimillion-dollar project, with Burns & McDonnell as designer.
