Boeing to avoid 737 Max prosecution in Justice Department deal

Through a deal with the Justice Department, Boeing will be able to avoid criminal prosecution for allegedly misleading U.S. regulators about the 737 Max.

Boeing would pay $1.1 billion, with part of the funding going toward families impacted by two deadly 737 Max crashes.

The "agreement in principle" still needs to be finalized, according to The Associated Press.
