Boeing scores $22B win in market dominated by Airbus

Boeing Co. has secured a $22 billion contract from an Indian budget carrier.

The single-aisle market in India is dominated by European rival Airbus SE.

SpiceJet Ltd. plans to buy from Boeing 155 planes, of which 55 were carried over from old orders after renegotiations. It also has options to buy 50 more.
