Boeing Co. ousted CEO Dennis Muilenburg and named his successor.
The company's board chose David Calhoun, chairman since October, as CEO and president, effective Jan. 13. Calhoun is a longtime former employee of General Electric Co.
Last week, Boeing announced it would temporarily halt production of the 737 Max jet, which has been grounded since March after two deadly crashes.
