The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking $3.1 million in fines over Boeing safety violations.
Boeing is reportedly reviewing the proposed penalty.
The fines are related to multiple safety violations, including an Alaska Airlines jetliner losing a door plug panel on its fuselage in midflight, according to NPR.
