Boeing was hit with a lawsuit from a 737 Max customer. That's the first time a customer has sued Boeing in the wake of the 737 safety crisis.
Avia Capital Services, a Russian aircraft leasing company, alleges two deadly crashes involving the 737 were due to the “negligent actions and decisions of Boeing." The suit alleges the plane is "defective" and that Boeing withheld "critical information" from U.S. aviation safety regulators.
Along with damages, Avia is seeking the cancelation of a 35-jet order with Boeing.
