Boeing deal will send 100 new jetliners to Iran

Boeing confirmed it signed a historic agreement to sell jetliners to Iran Air, the first major deal between a U.S. company and Iran since nuclear-related sanctions were lifted earlier this year.

Though Boeing declined to disclose how many commercial aircraft are part of the deal, Iran's state media has reported the number at 100.

The deal still must be approved by the U.S. government.
