Longtime politician Bob Dole died Sunday. He was 98.
Dole three times ran for the presidency, most recently securing the 1996 Republican nomination. President Bill Clinton won the election.
Dole also was the vice presidential running mate in President Gerald Ford’s post-Watergate loss.
