O’Reilly Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: ORLY) board member Paul Lederer led stock trades by company directors and officers this month.
The 78-year-old Lederer, who plans to retire from the board in May, on Feb. 15 sold 1,835 shares to net $459,014, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The next-largest transaction was made by O’Reilly Automotive CEO Greg Henslee on Feb. 1. Slated to become executive vice chairman of the board in May, Henslee purchased 1,239 shares for $325,089, according to an SEC filing. The filing falls under the SEC transaction code A, meaning it was a restricted share award.
Executive Chairman David O’Reilly on Feb. 1 purchased 1,334 shares under the SEC’s transaction code A for $350,015. The following day, he sold 150 shares for $37,896 under code F for payments of taxes related to previously awarded restricted shares, according to the SEC filing.
On Feb. 13, board member John Murphy disposed of 400 shares to generate $98,068, according to an SEC filing.
ORLY shares were trading at $242.90 as of 10:36 a.m., compared with a 52-week range of $169.43 to $279.23.
