The Senate passed House Bill 1015 32-0, and the House of Representatives passed it last week 150-0.
The bill allocates state funding for Utilicare, a utility assistance program for eligible Missouri residents.
Though the program was created in 1979, Blunt has said it has never been adequately funded, and this is the first funding for it since 2001. The bill calls for the maximum amount in funding allowed by law.
