U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt on Friday announced $618 million in federal coronavirus response funding for Missouri health care providers and hospitals.
The funds will be used to cover costs and lost revenue to make sure the health systems remain open during the pandemic.
"Future funding must include support for children’s hospitals and safety net hospitals, and target resources toward rural hospitals," Blunt said.
