The owners of the Toronto Blue Jays are exploring leasing, licensing and other financial tools to generate value from the Major League Baseball team.
Some have interpreted the move to mean owner Rogers Communications would sell the team, but a spokeswoman said there are no plans to do so.
"We continue to look for the best way to get credit for our incredible sports portfolio in our overall company valuation," the spokeswoman, Sarah Schmidt, said.
