Blue Bell Creameries this week issued a recall for half-gallon units of its Butter Crunch Ice Cream.
The recall comes after a customer found a piece of a plastic tool inside their ice cream.
"In an abundance of caution, the company is recalling a full day of production of this flavor from this manufacturing facility," company officials said.
