Blue Bell begins first ice cream shipments after listeria

Four months after recalling all products from stores across the country, Blue Bell Creameries announced their "trucks are back on the road" this week.

In April, Blue Bell issued a national recall after its ice cream was linked to 10 listeria illnesses in four states, as well as four deaths in Kansas, according to USA Today.

In the interim, Blue Bell laid off or furloughed thousands of employees, worked to test its products and accepted money from Fort Worth billionaire Sid Bass to keep the company afloat.
