Blue Apron files for IPO

New York-based subscription-based meal-kit delivery company Blue Apron filed for its initial public offering.

The preliminary documents filed yesterday show the company will seek to raise at least $100 million.

Its private valuation of $2 billion is slightly below its nearest rival, Hello Fresh, a Berlin-based meal-kit company that withdrew a planned IPO last year.
