Blessed to be a Blessing to Someone Else
We are blessed to be a blessing to someone else. When I heard this phrase sometime ago, it made a significant impact on my life and the way I viewed leadership.
My passion to inspire others comes from my desire to build meaningful relationships and to serve those around me. If you want to influence people, you must care about them, listen to them, encourage them, and be willing to empower them. People deserve to feel appreciated.
It takes courage to be a leader and I have found that being vulnerable and accessible to others is a strength of good leadership. Being a leader is not about your title, rather your passion to serve others. Helping others be the best version of themselves is a gift that will help them in all aspects of their lives.
As I reflect on my career, I am amazed by the blessings I have received from others as well as the leaders that have empowered me to take risks and coached me along the way.
As I continue to evolve as a leader, it is my desire to serve others with the same leadership blessings that I have received and are demonstrated by all at OakStar Bank.
