Black Friday expected to boost November auto sales

Auto researcher Kelley Blue Book is forecasting November’s auto sales will increase 3.6 percent compared to the same month last year thanks, in part, to Black Friday promotions, according to Fox News.

Pent-up demand coupled with sales such as General Motors’ supplier pricing promotion are driving expectations.

One analyst told Fox News that the 1.2 million units projected to be sold this month is impressive when compared to last year because many people on the East Coast were replacing vehicles at that time due to storm damage from Hurricane Sandy.
