Springfield-based certified public accounting firm BKD LLP has named six partners - two of which work in Springfield - who will assume their roles June 1.
The six elected partners and their offices are:
- Scott Gold, Springfield;
- Jamie McDonald, Springfield;
- James Anderson, Lincoln, Neb.;
- Matt Coffey, Bowling Green, Ky.;
- Carley Williams, Tulsa; and
- Tracy Young, Little Rock.
Partners are elected by their peers based on management skill, technical expertise and community involvement. The elected partners' clients include health care organizations, financial institutions, manufacturers, contractors and retailers, according to a company news release.
“These outstanding leaders represent the best of what BKD brings to our clients and the communities we serve,” BKD CEO Neal Spencer said in the release. “Their talents and breadth of knowledge will further strengthen the partner group driving the country’s 10th largest CPA and advisory firm.”
BKD has been listed as the 10th largest accounting firm by the Inside Public Accounting newsletter since 2005. It has been listed in the Top 10 since 2001, when it peaked at No. 7.
The report ranks the list based on net revenue growth, number of offices and other criteria. BKD's fiscal 2010 net revenue was approximately $389 million, a 0.4 percent drop from 2009, according to
Springfield Business Journal archives.
Springfield-based BKD LLP has roughly 2,000 employees, about 250 of which are partners, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
