Bird flu found at Tyson-contracted farm

A strain of bird flu was discovered at a Tennessee chicken farm contracted to Tyson Foods Inc.

Some 73,500 birds will be killed to keep the virus from entering the food system.

This is the first case of highly pathogenic H7 avian influenza found in commercial poultry in the United States this year.
