The Justice Department announced that pharmaceutical company Biogen would pay a $900 million settlement over federal and state claims.
Biogen is accused of allegedly paying kickbacks to physicians to encourage them to prescribe its drugs.
Former employee Michael Bawduniak, who blew the whistle on the company, is being paid $266 million from the settlement.
