Billy Busch tops siblings' offer for Grant's Farm by $1

Posted online
Billy Busch has topped his siblings' offer to buy Grant's Farm by $1.

The bid effectively matches the $26 million offer made in early April by  Beatrice Busch von Gontard , Peter Busch, Trudy Busch Valentine and Andy Busch. Billy Busch's offer is backed by Adolphus A. Busch IV.

The Busch siblings own Grant’s Farm through a trust, but they've had different opinions on its future. In March, the Saint Louis Zoo withdrew a $30 million offer to buy it, citing litigation among the siblings.

Anheuser-Busch currently leases the farm from the Busch Family Real Estate Trust. It's operated as a seasonal public attraction.

Billy Busch also matched his siblings' $8 million offer to purchase the historic Busch Family Mansion near Grant's Farm.
