Project description: Serving Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, Bill’s Electric Inc. is expanding into Ozark with an office and warehouse for its electrical repair and installation services for homeowners and businesses, according to officials with Arkifex Studios LLC. A representative of Bill’s Electric, project manager Craig Roberts, said the company is busting at the seams at its current location, 732 N. Miller Road in Springfield, but the new office will include 7,000 square feet of office space, 18,000 square feet of warehouse and a large laydown yard – the industry term for a staging area for materials and equipment – on its 3.4 acres of property. The Springfield office has no laydown yard at all, Roberts said, adding, “That will be very helpful.” The working plan is to move all operations from Springfield to Ozark, though Roberts said a final decision has not been made on whether the Queen City building will continue to be used.
A trio of brothers own Southway Storage LLC, which opened Oct. 7 and has 289 units to serve customers in Ozark, Nixa, Springfield and elsewhere in southwest Missouri.
