Billionaire Nutella founder dies

Michele Ferrero, the founder and patriarch of the Italian Nutella and Ferrero Rocher empire, died on Valentine's Day.

The 89-year-old had been battling an undisclosed illness, according to CNNMoney.

Forbes ranked Ferrero's wealth at $23.4 billion, calling him "the richest candyman on the planet."
